In this video, we talk about where we are in the process of completing our music marketing project and what we’ve already accomplished. At this point, most of our presentation is finished, including our social media content, research, artist identity, color scheme, and retro aesthetic. We’ve also completed our distribution plan and overall campaign strategy, so the music video is the final major piece of the project.
While working on the video, we ran into some problem's when it started raining, which forced us to change some of our original plans. We had wanted to film a picnic scene outside as one of the opening “memory” moments in the video, but the weather made that impossible. Because of this, we had to adapt our scenes and be flexible with our ideas, which is something artists and marketing teams often have to do in real life.
This video shows both our progress and our ability to solve problems as a group while still keeping the vision of our We Are Young music video intact.
