My Camera Shots Quiz

At the start of this course, we had a different kind of quiz. Instead of a regular written test, it was based on camera shots we learned in the last class.

The assignment was to use those shots to tell a short story. We could use objects, people, or both, but the main goal was to not just name the shots but actually use them in a way that fit their purpose. We had to include 11 specific shots plus 4 more of our choice.

For my project, I decided to make a story about a the erasers vs the weak paper people  specifically the scene where Peren’s mom dies. I thought it would be a powerful way to show different emotions through the shots. I used objects and props to represent the characters and made sure each angle and framing matched the mood of the moment. For example, I used an extreme close-up to highlight grief and fear of the smiling eraser titan, and wider shots to show the destruction happening around them.

Overall, I think my partner and I did a good job using the shots correctly and letting them drive the story and emotion. If I could improve anything, it would be the way the shots were taken I think I could’ve made them a bit sharper and framed the “characters” better
